TODAY’S TOPIC: New Year’s Resolutions From the Wisest Man!
REF: Proverbs 3:1-35
Almost all New Year’s Declarations/Resolutions deal with health or wealth or happiness/peace. The principles found in Proverbs Chapter 3 guarantee all of the below:
- Things to make us look better and live longer.
- Things to make us have more.
- Things that will help us to get along with everyone.
I call them – LONGEVITY, PROSPERITY AND PEACE.
Most of the things we so crave as humans, are all surrounded by these three key points above.
The secret to Longevity, Prosperity and Peace is in the Word of God as seen in Proverbs 3:1-2.
Wisdom Bestows Well-Being and the Word of God is full of wisdom from Genesis to Revelation.
Proverbs states: My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.
For 2019, make this your resolution.
DECLARATION 1.
LET LOVE AND FAITHFULNESS NEVER LEAVE YOU!
DECLARATION 2.
TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL OF YOUR HEART!
DECLARATION 3.
DO NOT BE WISE IN YOUR OWN EYES!
DECLARATION 4.
HONOR THE LORD WITH YOUR WEALTH!
DECLARATION 5.
DO NOT DESPISE THE LORD’S DISCIPLINE!
DECLARATION 6.
SEARCH DILIGENTLY FOR WISDOM AND FIND IT!
DECLARATION 7.
HAVE NO FEAR!
DECLARATION 8.
DO NOT WITHHOLD GOOD FROM THOSE WHO DESERVE IT!
DECLARATION 9.
DO NOT PLOT HARM AGAINST YOUR NEIGHBOR!
DECLARATION 10.
DO NOT ENVY A VIOLENT MAN OR CHOOSE ANY OF HIS WAYS!
Proverbs 3:1-2 (NIV)
1 My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
2 for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you peace and prosperity.
